Job Description:

Our client, a growing manufacturer and distributor of chemical products sold to commercial entities and distributors around the Northeast, is seeking an experienced HR Director to join their leadership team.

This is a high-impact leadership role reporting to the executive team and overseeing all core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, compliance, training, and organizational development. The company is scaling rapidly and needs someone who can build structure, drive policy, and act as a key partner to leadership as they grow.

Strong operational HR background and comfort in a fast-moving manufacturing environment are key. Lot’s of room to grow in the role!

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all core HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, training, performance management, and organizational development.

Build and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to support the company’s growth.

Serve as a strategic advisor and partner to the executive team and managers on HR matters.

Drive initiatives to build and maintain a positive, engaging, and compliant workplace culture.

Support managers in coaching, performance reviews, and employee development plans.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Develop and deliver training programs to support employee growth and organizational needs.

Requirements:

Strong operational HR background.

Demonstrated experience building HR structures and policies in a scaling organization.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven ability to partner with senior leadership to support organizational goals.
