Our client is a rapidly growing, multi-state ABA therapy provider seeking a CFO to lead financial strategy, elevate planning and analytics, and partner closely with operations. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can build scalable finance capabilities in a lean environment and support strategic initiatives in the future.
The CFO will provide leadership and oversight while expanding forward-looking finance, reporting, and operational decision support.
Own the company’s finance strategy, including budgeting, forecasting, cash planning, and KPI management
Build and lead FP&A capabilities, including utilization analytics, center-level performance, margin drivers, and productivity/efficiency reporting
Partner with operations leadership to translate performance data into actionable recommendations
Oversee financial reporting, controls, and accounting governance in coordination with the internal accounting lead and external partners
Develop scalable reporting rhythms for the CEO and leadership team (dashboards, variance analysis, business reviews)
Support growth initiatives, including new-state entry, center expansion, and performance improvement efforts
Strengthen finance infrastructure over time (process improvements, systems optimization, policies, and team build-out as needed)
Senior finance leader with experience in healthcare services and multi-site operations (ABA experience helpful but not required)
Strong FP&A orientation with a track record of building planning and analytics in environments without a large finance department
Operationally engaged style; able to work “in the business,” not only report on it
Comfortable working with lean resources, setting structure, and creating repeatable finance processes
High integrity and sound judgment; direct, transparent communication style
Experience with QuickBooks or similar mid-market systems is helpful; must be systems-comfortable and able to improve reporting workflows
Opportunity to have direct impact on performance in a scaled, growing healthcare services platform
Visible role partnering with the CEO and leadership team
Build-out mandate: create FP&A and decision-support capabilities rather than inherit a fully built corporate structure
Potential to play a central role in near-to-mid-term growth and execution
